"LOOK AT HIS ART & YOU TELL ME!!"

                  by Judy Jones

Is Alex Grey the next 'Leonardo Da Vinci?'
Perhaps.  History shall tell.  Certainly he is
the most unique artist of our time and the
next five hundred years!

Thirteen to nineteen year olds know Alex
Grey's art.  Eight year olds know Alex Grey's
works and forty year olds have posters of his
art hanging on their walls in their homes.

After viewing his art you will be changed.
In what way?  Check it out and you
tell me.  You've seen it everywhere
without even realizing it was Alex Grey's!

After attending 'MIND STATES IV' at
UC Berkeley, California with some of the
most brilliant minds alive on earth, Alex
Grey's works were certainly the most
enlightening of everything I experienced there,
of this I am certain.

Have you ever been in a room and the light
was so bright in one spot it nearly
blinded you and everything else in the
room paled in comparison?
Perfect description of Grey's work.

Funny how people ahead of their
time are seen but not really.  Like they
are planting their seeds and long after
they are gone the whole world including
the planets presently being inhabited
will scratch their heads (antenna?) in
amazement while looking at the
art of Alex Grey.

Define it?  You can't.  At one time I
thought, 'Oh I know, his paintings are
helping usher in the age of 'oneworld
without borders'.  They are, but oh
so much more.

They activate all our senses at once
and go beyond common words in describing
what you have seen.  It's art and science
combined.  One thing is clear; never before
and perhaps never again in our lifetimes will
you see art like this.

I'm not a 'fan type' persona.  Yet Alex
has tapped into some divine mind that is
simply 'reopening' my third eye that
goes beyond 'fan status'.

Thinking a zillion ways at once with
ideas flowing like water happen while
viewing a 'Grey' painting.  His past
performance pieces are extraordinary.

One question.  When will  the female
'Leonardo da Vinci' appear?  And why
is she still 'On the Back of the Bus'?
After all we are in the process of
inhabiting other planets.  Surely there
is one female artist alive with light
as bright as Alex Greys!

Maybe when women stop birthing
through their bodies completely;
within 75-100 years or less, they will
have time to give birth to their own
creative geniuses instead of nurturing others.

I'm ready for 'Ms Who Is' instead of
'Ms. Whose That?' how bout' you?

Ah Mr. Grey, your art does make
us think.  I am so happy 'On the Road
With Judy!' decided to attend Mind
States IV at UC Berkeley, California!
